''Help change the world'' Day 1

Four rivers - the Tonle Sap, the Mekong, the Bassac and the small Mekong – meet in front of the Royal Palace in a majestic confluence called Chaktomuk.  Phnom Penh stretches North to South on the West side of the confluence. The city offers a fascinating cocktail of flavors. The crumbling, colonial architecture & wide boulevard-style roads, give the city relaxed French feel. This provides a contrasting background to the vibrant Cambodian markets & typically chaotic Asian traffic with motos, cyclos and cars. Phnom Penh is the only major city on the banks of the Mekong. Sunset is a good time to visit the riverside area where a multitude of restaurants offer cuisine from all over Asia & Europe.

Arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport or bus station. Transfer with our local guide to You Khin House for check-in.

You Khin House is owned and managed by Muoy You, the founder of the Seametrey NGO and director of Seametrey Children’s Village, the school that enables children of underprivileged Cambodian families to get quality education. Revenues generated from the guest house go to Seametrey Children’s Village located next door.

Kindly note that You Khin House has only seven rooms. Due to this limited capacity, booking is subject to availability. Substitute accommodation nearby guesthouse will be arranged in case of no availability at You Khin House.
